Sunscreen Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Non-nano Zinc Oxide, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cera alba (raw NZ beeswax), Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate.
How to Apply: A little goes a long way! Conventional sunscreens are made with a lot of water however our formula is water-free so goes 2-3 times further. Start with a pea-sized amount and warm it up in your palms before applying. Our sunscreen rubs in clear and doesn't leave you looking white like a ghost. Apply at least every 2 hours, keep out of direct sunlight.
[Please note this formulation is prone to grittiness/separation and is not vegan (due to the beeswax). It is perfectly safe to use despite the consistency, just melt it in your palms or remelt your tin in a hot water bath to get rid of any lumps. Alternatively, we have created a new formula which does not have this issue, the Daily Face and Body Sunscreen. This product is also lighter weight, incredibly smooth and creamy making it easier to apply. It's also made with vegan plant wax instead of beeswax. We have no doubt you and your family will love our sunscreen no matter which formula you choose!]
Such a great sunblock! I’ve been using it on my toddler while travelling and it’s been fantastic. No spills, easy to put on (she loves doing it herself) and best of all knowing we aren’t harming the ocean or it’s animals. 10/10 would recommend.
Hubby and I have been using this for about 2 years now. Absolutely love the whole kaupapa! Goes on well, doesn’t stain your kākāhu, stays on well, our surfie whānau love it. The beeswax one is preffered by those of us in the whānau with olive skin but it’s great that there is that the one without it is still there for those who prefer without. We also love the glass jar option at Hopper Refill in Pōneke.

Was looking for something more eco-friendly and came across this! Love it, and it doesn’t have that “greasy” feeling like other sunscreen
I've just taken some Seasick Sunscreen up to Fiji and absolutely love it. It feels more like a moisturiser than a sunscreen, it leaves your skin feeling soft and protected, not all greasy like other sunscreens. I love the plastic-free packaging and the fact that it is safe on the coral and sea-life. A brilliant product.
Love this product - great for sensitive skin and use on both myself and baby. Goes a long way and I love that in comes in a reusable tin. Eye opening to learn how many toxins are in regular sun screen!
