How to apply our sunscreen

Watch our video to learn how to apply our mineral sunscreen

Swapping from a chemical sunscreen to a mineral sunscreen with no water in it can take a bit of getting used to. Our handy user guide will help you have the best experience and get the most out of your sunscreen. Once you've got the hang of it, you'll never look back!
Did you know that conventional sunscreens that usually come in plastic squeeze bottles are up to 70% water? That means you need to wear a lot of sunscreen to get adequate protection. So why use water in a sunscreen? Well, we don't! That means a little goes a really long way.

“Did you notice that there was no water in [Seasick Sunscreen's] ingredient list? What that means is that a little goes a very long way. I couldn’t believe that tiny amount required to cover my face.” - Juliette, Eco-blogger

Our top sunscreen tips:

~Swipe your fingers across the surface of the sunscreen or use the back of a nail to dig a small amount out.
~Warm it up in your palms in cooler temperatures before applying to your body.
~ A little goes a long way! Start by dabbing small pea-sized blobs on each of your body parts i.e face, neck, upper and lower arms and legs, a couple of blobs for chest and torso, same for back and shoulders.
